Where no land space is available for infiltration basins and trenches, precast concrete soakaways are the main proprietary SuDS components used to allow runoff to filter through the subsoil and return to the water table below ground. A wide range of soakaway sizes can be supplied to projects in the UK (see below). Another proprietary SuDS option is perforated drainage troughs.
